I was loath to drive even a few inches with all the air out. 520 Tire was able to air them up without moving the bus. Even though they're Michelins, rubber is rubber and these are 13 years old. Plus, ALL the air was out and the rim was bearing down on the rubber for the 3 day holiday weekend. How long did yours last after you aired them up? Were they oldies? And how much driving did you do after airing them up. I had faith in mine and whatever fate might throw my way before this incident, but the event has made me more skeptical. So far they're holding up ok but all I've done is docido around the block to stay in step with Tucson's parking rule about shifting to a different street and block every 24.

Did you ever get that old girl painted?
Or is it still in primer?

John,
What are you doing running 13yr old tires?????? You know better than that! I saw once that Michelin stated you could run their tires for 10yrs, longer than any tire manufacture I've seen BUT - That was if you followed their maintenance plan which consisted of removing and having the tire inspected inside & out every year! Who does that????

Mine were aired down about 7 months ago. They are 4yr old Toyo's and currently still aired up. Just got back from a 2500 mile trip to the Eclipse rally a few months ago, still doing just fine.
