I watched that youtube too!

I bought the van used of course.
no rust and pretty clean, looks like it was a rental and used to haul kids or some group or something, maybe a church van?

It was missing the spare tire and wheel, they got me one but one rear tire was pretty worn.
the other rear was the orignal spare i think.

Once i got it over the pit i found all kinds of mud and grass in the frame and in all of the gaps and stuff.
Looks to me like it got stuck, ran off the road or something, maybe the other tire was ruined at that time.
I cleaned the mud and grass out of everything but now i wonder if the fuse box has some of that same mud between the fuses and the harness.
i did blow lots of high pressure air in the fuse block and did get some dust and sand out, nothing drastic.
But i will call chevy about a new fuse block, just to make sure i can get one if this one is toast.

Jeri does not like ants.
And tommy the cat is tired today,we watched him and a black stray cat have a kick butt cat fight last night about 10pm.
Looks like Tommy was the winner, but hes not been in for us to inspect him.
He did come in at 6am to eat,but hes back out doing his thing now.

Before you spend all day on your knees and shoulders any chance you can run a wire from the battery to the injector bank with an inline fuse to test your theory??? That fuse box removal is a pain and I’d hate to see you go to all that work for naught? Just a suggestion….

I have considered that, just bypassing the fuse block as a "test" (yeah, right).

I was also considering installing a volt meter on the feed wire to the coils and injectors, and mounting the meter in the cab.
for full time monitoring of the power.

I understand. Well if you threw coil packs, spark plugs, injectors, at it. If you disconnected the harness put an ohm meter on each wire then manhandled the harness to see if you have an intermittent wire brake then the only things left are the fuse box, bad ecm, or corrupt software in the ecm. The latter two are gonna cost ya! Ouch! If your local guy has a gm subscription and a diagnostic tool ( not a scanner) then he can try a software reload. GM will allow you I 1 day subscription but the charge you your first born child to get it. Then you still need the tool to load it. Ugh. Good luck my friend.
Forgot to add I like the volt meter trick a lot. If the voltage is solid and doesn’t move when it fails then the wire harness and fuse box is good. Could save you some grief.
