Default UGLY UGLY shower curtain has to go!!

OK, we need to replace that awful ugly shower curtain that comes with the 1982 FC36' coach. CAN'T tolerate it one more minute. It has the hooks that are on the rail that is attached to the ceiling. HOW do you tear this bugger out and put in something more modern??

I'm really clausterphobic and this curtain really bothers me. HELP SOMEONE!

I've been thinking about this too. I think it was in 84 or 85 they went to bi-folds. Those are ok to but if I could find a NOS curtain I would be just as happy. Lived with it daily for the pst five months. Not an issue at all and like the pattern.

Not sure the doors would help with your claustrophobia. I used those too and they really lock you in. This would be even more so if you don't have the step down in the shower. Perhaps a clear curtain?

BTW, I did not think there was such a thing as an FC 36?

Brenda has made a couple of those for our coach. We just use a tension rod and hooks.
Now instead of going thru that hassle, we buy a cheap one at wally and cut the bottom off.

If we could find a set of bifolds that would fit, the area for the shower entry is arched toward the passenger side of the coach. It does have the step up for the shower. I don't know how to attach a clear shower curtain to those types of hooks as the current curtain is sown into the hooks.

And yes, we have a FC36' with a mid bath and twin beds in the rear.

Pretty sure you can buy sew-in track style hangers from RV stores like Campers Inn. I bought some of these and had the rear curtains completely rebound with all new angers. They are nylon and very strong.

Follow the link below.

Good idea Ernie.... Keeping it simple.

Is it a standard guage rod? I would be concerned that it would look out of scale in this application? I'm going to look into this. If I can find a small guage rod and small hangers this might be the easy fix and easy to switch out the curtains regularly.
