Thank you!
It’s definitely going to be registered and licensed and insured in Florida

Plus how does your coach insurance work with the bus plated in another state?
I'm sure lots of guys here can help with this.
I think there’s a big difference between tax evasion and tax AVOIDANCE.

Avoiding taxes (like keeping receipts for business purchases or getting a receipt from Goodwill or Salvation Army for donations made).

Evading is under reporting or non reporting income.

Not recommending that you do either. Just pointing out some facts.

I hesitated to get into this discussion but decided to share my experience with this issue. We own a ranch in MT. pay electric, have water rights, own our brand for the livestock. I guess you could say everything covered above ground, on the ground and below ground in MT. I decided why pay Indiana sales tax with this in my pocket. Direct Food Production always works right?

Met with an attorney, which happens to be the county's attorney, she said NO WAY. She explained that they were going after hunters that claim to be MT residents, assuming savings on hunting license and hunting rights, that actually spends over 6 months of the year in another state. They are doing this by tracking phones. She claimed it will be a matter of time when the other states decide to collect sales taxes the way MT is doing with the hunters.

I love playing in the "gray" area but decided against this one. Good luck on whatever everyone else decides.

Every situation is different and every state is different. Here in NC you pay your property tax on your RV before you get the plates. Everything is tied into that plus proof of insurance. We don't full time but winter in Florida. We keep NC plates on it. Got a friend that plates his Prevost through his car business. All legit. That's a perfectly legal way here in NC because you are paying taxes on the product through the business. We run NC plates and don't worry about it. YMMV
