Default Spare tire.

Regarding a spare tire location, Randy has put them on the roof.
So when I replaced my FC front tires, one of the old tires went on the roof. Tire shop had a fork lift to get it up there. If I need it, roll it off.
Bought some inexpensive cargo straps to hold it in place.

I found a great guy at Tommy’s tire in Toledo over the phone. I drove there and they popped it off, patches on the inside and I was on my way in an hour and only $58

The tag tires are 2011 vintage so I’ll probably get two tires pretty soon

Where do you put the spare tire? Roof?
This is how and where I put mine.

You want to make sure it is protected form the sun. If you want to "hide" it this is the way to do it and clean up the roof appearance.

I just went to these guys and had new front tires put on my bus. They took care of business, good price and were careful. They had a torque wrench to do the job right. They do on the road repairs and have several service trucks. Located near Perrysburg in an industrial park just off I-75 at

6202 Fairfield Drive. That is west of the I-75/Wales Rd exit. Here is their link:

There are several tire shops in the area depends on what side of town you're on. All of them have road service. There are however no deals on tires in this area. Even the ones that know me from the Fire Dept won't give a guy a break.

Rick,
I drove to them, it was only a slow leak but I had another 700 miles home so I figured I'd get her properly patched up.

It was funny they were like "wow, nice coach"! When you said RV I was thinking something else, and "This is a bus", how much did you pay, "how much this cost new", etc, etc, etc. So, when the work is complete and bill time comes I'm bracing myself... they call me into the office, the manager has the paper all printed out, and tells me the total is $58.23! Not too shabby I was thinking it could have been 3x that. Very fair

Glad you had a good Toledo experience. There have been a few songs written about Toledo and they were not real kind. It's not a bad place if you are looking for a restaurant as there are plenty to choose from. Just have to know where to stay away from as the sun goes down. There is an ugly side to this town too. Most folks just know RV's as S & S junk and Bluebird school buses as yellow boxes. Next time through here give me a ring and we'll go to my favorite breakfast place, Nick's Diner, just off the Maumee exit on the turnpike.

Rick - should we add them to our Service Center list? If so, is there anything specific other than what you've listed above that should be noted?

Thanks!
