Default Windshield wiper motor

On my trip down the coast in January, my passenger side wiper quit working, in severe downpour of course. Wife not happy, especially in the Grapevine traffic of north of LA. After getting to destination, I found a "keeper" snap had falling off the arm that drives the wiper, and the drive pin had fallen out. I put it all back together securely and figured it was fixed. On the way home last week, the wiper was banging both sides of the windshield and finally failed again. In a severe downpour of course. Wife rolled her eyes! I think I need a new wiper motor. Any ideas on where to get one that will fit the customized Blue Bird installation?

While I don't know specifically, i did some looking around the WOG

Here is a similar situation on a WB

"Max Hendrix" had posted in another thread.
I needed parts for my BMC.
This company had what I needed and was easy and good to deal with

amequipment.com.

Click on upper right side of page. “Shop for replacement parts”. Kinda easy to overlook but here is where you will find the entire catalog

Thanks Tim:
The wiper mount is exactly the same as mine, so hopefully I can repair it or replace it if need be. It's really in a tough place to get too. Even with the heater hoses removed.

Default Wiindshield wiper motor

Norbert, if the BMC is like our 95 WB, yes it is a tough place to get to. If I had longer arms it would be a great help. The biggest problem I had was putting it back in because the spacer plate fell down and I did not realize it. Finally after several tries I saw the plate and was able to reinstall the unit. As my original post says the thing that was wrong was loose hardware and shaft nut. The wiper now works fine.

I found a couple of loose screws that needed to be tightened and got the wiper motor back in. After doing this twice, it was a little easier. Seems to work like normal now. Thanks for your help. Always appreciated.
