The ISM is at least 450, so that makes sense.

The ISM was 450HP in 2000 on a Bird.

In 2001, it moved to 500HP (as that is what I have). I don't know if it went higher than that on a Bird in later years.

I THINK an M11 was basically the same (or very similar) motor and it was available with 450HP in 1996-1999. In 1996-97, it was part of a BMC 40'. Then it was used in 1998-99 on the LX.

I just spoke with friend and M380 owner who is picking his 380 up today from The Cummins shop in El Paso after a head replacement along with the #6 cylinder liner. On his way to El Paso the engine started to "use" a fairly large quantity of coolant, he kept it topped off till he drove into the shop. The Cummins folks have been very nice but don't sound like they'll admit any defect at this point, they have offered a one year/100k warranty. He didn't take any pics.

Need him to add his chassis number and mileage to the Cummins engine failure spreadsheet. There is a lot of good ammo on the WOG that may help him make the case this is a design / manufacturing defect.

Dan and Cindy, Where shall I find the engine failure spreadsheet? I will try to get the numbers to you for our coach. Sorry I'm not the tech iest person
