Andy,

It could be that my leak is ONLY in the seal and your's in the extension/retraction system as I have no problem airing up the Coach, or holding the suspension air or opening and closing the slide.

I had a tiny leak a couple of years ago, and it did take pressure down. I would guess if you hold air that the air to the seal is shut off. With consultation from Doc I removed the bolts and lifted the slide mechanisms at each end, then pushed the slide in.

As far as the leak went, it turned out to be on the outside edge that I could have reached without pulling the slide in! It was a tiny pinhole, and I followed some online instructions for dealing with such in bicycle tubes. With the seal inflated and leaking the hole was big enough to insert a round toothpick. Put gel superglue on the toothpick, insert it, dump the seal air and withdraw the toothpick. Been fine for two years so far.

I was running the seal pressure at 25psi, and after fixing the leak I changed to 15psi.

Does everybody here know how to turn off the seal air without affecting the rest? If not we can tell you.
