Find and disconnect the 12 volt DC feeding the replaced airconditioner and then see if your electrical issues stop as they may have taken a short cut to get DC to the replaced AC unit.

Remove the inside airconditioner shroud from the replaced airconditioner and look for the 12 volt DC wires feeding the roof top unit and disconnect them being careful not to allow them to touch so cap them off.
If this stops your electrical issues, trace them to their source where they were tied into.

Also, make sure they did not swap the positive and negative DC leads for the replaced AC unit.
