The366 is a small bore 396 if i remember right.
Tiny valves in the heads too.
But the good thing is you can put a 396,a 427 or even the 8.1 in it.
Of course if its a good 366 i would run it.
I lied,i would never run it! hahahaaa!
I would have to put a Cummins in it,for real!

Wow, sold to someone who lived in Phenix City. Being born and raised there, I find it hard to believe!

That's funny, my plans are to put a Cummins in it later on. I'm going to run the 366 to start with.

They had actually purchased it from the Russell County School District. Apparently after that they later moved to Hatchechubbee. I'll be moving it to Lafayette where I live for the restoration and renovation. I lived in the Phoenix city area for several years after I got out of the Army.

I often wonder about a gas to gas resto-mod swap. Like a 7.3L Godzilla/6R140 from a late model F-650/750 going in there. It's got the snot to move that coach, plus two OD gears, and the 7.3L isn't that big, physically.

I hadn't actually thought about something like that.

The Cummins is going to give you the option of air brakes. Possibly something to think about sooner than later.

I appreciate that info. I hadn't thought of that. I'm currently looking at used dumbstruck possibilities for drive train and rear axle upgrades.
