Default Testing to get ready for the rescue

So I am testing on posting. This is the only spot that I found that has the Post Thread button. But that’s okay for now.

I am planning to go to Florida in a few weeks to get the rescue 1988 WB Pt40. Jeff L has been going through the main components to make sure it’s road ready to bring it back to Louisville. Then the fun begins.

Jeff did give me a list to begin replacing and fixing. I learned from the PO that the water lines froze and broke, a long time ago. So that’s going to be interesting. Plus generator quits (see Gino’s Garage video). Plus the battery charges don’t work - no loss there. And the fridge...and who knows what else. But the engine, trans, suspension, brakes, etc appear good.

I am really amazed at all the info, diagrams, and manuals on the WOG. I’m going to be recreating the long lost Blue box and updating it.

Good luck. Go pex with all the plumbing and you'll have a much better time. I did that once to SOB. Cut out as much copper I could and scrapped it. Tons of help as I am sure you know, here.
