If the low air pressure buzzer for your brakes is coming on...the coach is unsafe to drive until you fix some leaks.

Looks like that pump pulls 180 amps at 12VDC. It would have to be mounted close to the batteries with 4/0 cable!

I'm not saying there aren't good reasons to have an aux air pump, just not the reason you are mentioning. I'm very happy with the one I got to replace the failed pump in my M380 - it pulls 9 amps at 110VAC. http://www.ultraquietaircompressor.c...-CAT-120LF.htm

Looks good, only does 90 psi though? Looking for something that does 120 for the tires. But I need to get more learning on the amp thing.

Yes, I need to address the air leaks, not just look for a way to get around it.

As an old helo pilot I am just about deaf...according to JUdy! I am considering getting an ultrasonic leak detector. I once built a ballast tank for a wake board boat and we used one to find some very small pin hole leaks in my welds. Freon can go thru some very, very, very small holes that water could never go through!!! I will never make another one!!!

Yeah I was looking at those today. Any recommendations as to the best unit for us?

The pump you pointed to showed a power requirement of 2160 watts. Watts are volts times amps.

The one I have is rated for a max of 120PSI, but I suspect it would do 150. Just not much "oomph" when you go over 120. The 90PSI rating is 3.8 cubic feet per minute. All pumps drop in volume as pressure increases. My regulator is set for something between 105 and 110 (hard to be exact with an analog gauge). This pump will bring the entire coach up to that level from zero in about 10 minutes.
