Default Door Handle Needed

I believe it's the Bargman L-300. It was good and cold outside today and when I pulled on the paddle handle, it snapped in half. It's still kind of functional - I'm not locked out - but I can't find the paddle part anywhere. It looks like they stopped making them and rebuilt/reconditioned/NOS entire door lock/handle L-300 kits are all $150-$200 on eBay/Vintage Trailer Supply, etc... Any ideas?

So Bargman stopped making this door handle a while back. There are a few online for $200 - $300. I decided to try and fix it. Shown here is the front and I also used a sheet metal piece on the back, also with JB Weld. I painted the sheet metal with POR-15 and it seems like we may have a winning combination. Time will tell...

Bob, We did the same repair on John Finns handle a few years ago. It worked well for quite a while but eventually failed I believe John added some screws to it on the second go around?

Tri Mark now makes a replacement for the Bargman lock. If you call them they will tell you the model #.

I made a backing plate and attached it with FH screws - still holding up - I think

Did a little online research. I found one article where somebody replaced a Bargman plus some links for a Bargman and Tri Mark replacements. Have fun.
