Sitting at a Cracker Barrel somewhere in North Carolina. Only 81 out here right now. We're going to try to get away without using the generator tonight. This old cat definitely does not like it this hot, though. I ran the fan override 75% of the time today to keep everything under 190. I'm seeing a replacement radiator in my future anyway.

Grand Maris, St Ignace, Saute St Marie are a few of our favorite places.
Saute Locks visit a county campground on the River at the locks, Anne' Osbourn (spell),
Pictured Rocks from a boat on a sunny day is magnificent

Saute locks are really neat. I could spend all day there watching the boats go by.

A pleasant 75*F this Sunday morning down-State MI. Heading to Washakie Golf and RV Resort near North Branch for golf and relax. $36 for 30 amp and H2O. And 2-for-1 greens fees on Monday.

On the road again...

Not to much info at all. You gave me a couple of places to look up. Thanks.

Talking

I sympathize with all you people that are suffering from hot weather.

I recommend you come to the Northwest. The high yesterday in Ocean Shores, WA yesterday was 69 with a nice breeze. We would be glad to have you as a visitor, just bring money.

Default Just to say hello

I’ve had a couple folks enquire about the Heckman’s so I thought I might post here.
Short of it is Ethel and I are fine. We very much miss seeing our friends and we miss the positive aspects of owning our beloved wanderlodge.

I don’t miss the “responsibility “ for lack of a better word required to keep the bus road worthy. It was getting to be a too much for me and I don’t regret letting it go to a new home.

I had some intention of attending Shane’s rally this last week but it was just too hot. We had talked about driving up just to say hello and to visit.

My wish is to be involved with this marvelous group and we think of you all often. Happiness in life involves adjusting to your individual realities and we probably all struggle with that. When I bought the Bella Mia I was 62 and 72 when I sold it . I feel some sadness in the fact that ten years doesn’t seem long enough but I remind myself of how privileged I felt every moment I spent behind the wheel of that marvelous machine.

Ethel and I extend our best wishes to each and everyone of you and we just might show up when we are least expected.
