I just put a new Dometic 15K on my 380, though made in China it is fairly well made vs the original Mexican Dometic with all the tin rusting away under there. Still no easier to replace a blower motor which is still about impossible. I saved the Mexican original as it still cooled reasonably well despite bad blower. The only good AC on a bus is a Carrier Transcold unit!

The covers are engineered to direct the fan’s airflow thru the condenser coil to Dissipate the heat-some units suck air in, some blow it out, without the covers the head pressure builds up and compressor kicks out (no more cooling). If your old units cool well, do everything to keep them. The older Freon formulations cool much better than today’s.
