Default Detroit dreams

Last night I dreamt that I had flushed the engine out with pure water, woke up today to go out and finish that off, and the engine was all busted up because it froze solid. I'm sure it's because I showered in antifreeze while pulling a hose from underneath yesterday, got mad, and then just quit working on it for the day.

Only a dream. If I tried to fill it with water the hose would have frozen sitting in the yard before it ever got that far!

Yea it’s hard to get those hoses off without taking a bit of a bath.. I was soaked when I was pulling those hoses too.. I don’t know how you do it in that cold weather.. of course you probably would not like working in our heat in the middle of summer here.. you are soaked from sweating not anti freeze..

It got up to 35 during the day, that's why I was out there. It's the best of both worlds - the top 1" of gravel thaws out and turns into mud so you get wet no matter what. Today it's going to be 48 so I'm on a mission to get a lot of stuff done! And the sun is out! Last week it got down to below zero a few times.

We're about 10 miles northeast of Panama City Beach and the thermometer in my car said 38 when I got in it. There was frost on the hood, windshield, and roof.

That must have been traumatic. It was -10 last week for 1 night, then 45 yesterday, a foot of snow coming tomorrow.

Not that bad. We are transplants from northwest Pennsylvania. I've experienced a week up there where the high was -3 and the low -40. There's a reason (well, several) that I'm in Florida. The all-time record low temperature here was 8 degrees F, about two weeks after we moved down in 1985.

Yes, we've had snow here. We taught the neighborhood kids how to make snowmen.
