Default Tires and Shocks

I have always considered my bird to handle well from the first time I drove it. The front shocks were a little looser than I would have liked but did not present a significant problem on rough roads. I finally got down the list of "need to do" items and had a set of Michelin XZA tires along with Koni's ( set to 1/2 turn from max ) on the front. What a difference! It is like driving a totally different bus. Needless to say that was money well spent!

Next up is getting the retarder working. It is quite apparent I have some burnt up coils possibly from a PO forgetting to turn it off. Does anyone know of a supplier for parts for the Jacob J-500 unit? I have been looking for a complete unit but have not had any luck so far.
