Default dash a/c how do you access switches?

ok i know i have more questions than 6 year old! but thanks to you guys i'm learn'n!! ok here go's my a/c compressor runs when the a/c switches and fan in overhead console are off need to get inside overhead a/c to check switchs ect.. i see that the front panel has piano hinge to open it for service i guess and seems that something is holding it in top center-dont see any screws to remove and i'm worried that if i just try prying it i will break something so thought i'd ask for advice first.
also does relay get made by switch to start compressor the only print i have only shows one switch starting compressor-i'm sure it more complicated than that.
as always thanks for any help or advice you can provide!

that front panel will just pull down,it is a little scary the first time, but it will come down, keep pulling.
Your AC has 2 fan switchs, the left switch turns the compressor on and controls the left fan,the right switch controls the right fan only.
The drawing is correct.

thanks randy - so when you supply voltage to fan it also sends voltage to relay that turns condensor fan on constant? thanks for your help mike (i'll buy you a cup of coffee and tell you a story at rats)!
