Default Led docking lights

Continuing the led replacement I bought flush mount leds on ebay. I then had to modify them and create a plate that they would mount to, that would then slide in the Ray-Line bucket, like the original bulb did.
PIta but I am happy with the results.

Just checked them now that it is dark out. Much brighter, and wider pattern. They are also bright white.

These are the lights I used, BUT. I had to cut off the tabs where the screw holes are in order to make them fit in the original holders. This was not my initial plan. My initial plan was to replace the entire Ray-Lite plastic bucket holder with an aluminum plate that I would mount the light in.
As I got working on it I decided that if I could make a plastic holder for the LED light that was approx 5/16" thick, and the same shape as the original bulbs, then I could slip it in like the stock bulb.
I found a plastic fence panel at home depot, that was the correct thickness. I cut the holder out of the panel material, attached the light to the holder with caulking and small pop rivets, then slid them in the holder like the original bulb.
I will try to take a picture of the panel, it is in my shop, and the pattern for the holder, later today.

The wooden pattern that I made for the lights. The plastic fence panel, and where I cut the plate from.
