Default Samsung Door Restraints for Travelling

Well, it took a while, but finally got there. Seems the creative juices get kind of thick as we get older.

The problem has been how to restrain the freezer drawer for travelling. The requirements are:
1. Does the job
2. Won't break if someone opens the drawer
3. Very visible so #2 won't occur

The solution went back to straps with Velcro, as many have done on the upper doors. Added a strap with a hook and screwed an eye just below the fridge. Meets all the requirements. Easy on, easy off.

If you do not have a cabinet below the refrigerator, the fitting might work well on the floor.

Nice, Ron! Those remind me of "Remove Before Flight" pins. Can't miss them!

We had been blocking the freezer door with a chair while underway. Inconvenient at best. So today I took Dorinda to the bus to show her how to secure the freezer for travelling. I had her hook on the strap and she said, "Ron, this'll never work. It will still open." So I told her to try to open it. She tried and exclaimed "Wow, it really works!! That's really neat." When wife is happy, hubby is happy.
