Default Windows

My new MH has these amber tinted window compared to my previous 94 which had smoke black glass dark windows. My wife feels that these amber windows provide too much shade. I open a window and it seems to confirm her suspicions. I'd like your thoughts on this. Are the amber windows blocking more light or not?????

Default I'm with Sue!!

You got time on you hands or somethin Or are you just tryin get us to pick sides. I'm going with Sue. She says it's darker in there it's darker. Love you guys and it's good to hear something from you even if it's of questionable merit. ( Although who am I to question merit.)

Now we can let the physicists debate light transmission and such. Might learn something. Seems to me the color would have relatively little to do with the amount of light transmitted but I guess it could affect the wave length of light transmitted or blocked? Way to long ago for me to remember any of this stuff I've I even did know.

The new windows may have more heat rejection than the old ones. The color may be an option that Bird prefered at that time. Or, the price was right, to buy in bulk. Who owned them(Bird) at that time?
