Thankfully when I got home, Ron R had just posted his Girard update and the hard part was already done . As to too many TV’s, to each their own. We have 3 - front, rear (on what they now call a “televator”) & bay with DirecTV. The DW likes her TV. Happy wife, happy... Retired 5 days ago, but will never go full-time and that’s by design. Much prefer having a place to head back to and take care of the bus in-between our Bird adventures. Again, to each their own. Yep, the wog helps make it all possible. It might be time for another big RV show .
Agreed about the "idea shopping", that was my intention this time. My take away from the show was liking a second half bath and possibly adding a fold down bench or wood step in the shower to make shaving my legs easier. The rest just made me appreciate my bus even more.

Really want to have fun at an RV show. Just wear a Blue bird cap, and wander through the new stuff. I have had salesmen turn their back to me when they see that cap.

Many moons ago......One of our sons and I went into an RV dealership to get a part. The salesman came rushing over, smiling and glad handed us. “Looking to upgrade?” Son: “No, she has a Wanderlodge!” VERY dejected, small voice: “Oh, never mind.”
Upon returning to our car, we laughed our selves silly!

I went into the local trailer dealer to buy the new fans for my rig and the sales guy struck up conversation. He wasn't pushy or anything, but asked what I had and I told him an old BB Wanderlodge. I had made it up to the counter and he asked if I wanted a new trailer and I responded with "I don't think so". The woman behind the counter cracked up hard.

Yeah, I joked and said we should drive the bus up to one of these..on their busiest day, and tell them "we'd like to upgrade, whatcha got?"

We did go to one a few years back after we bought the first bus. I was looking for inspiration on where to go with her flooring and such. The lead sales guy came over and was eager to chat with us until he found out what we had. We told him we have a Bluebird Wanderlodge and he smirked "oh you guys have a Prevost, nevermind"....and walked off! lol
