Via a Facebook group. No details other than the RV had been sitting there for some time and that it was empty.

That would have left a good mark on a Bird, too. But man that is just destroyed.

It never ceases to amaze me how much wood weighs. We had a branch break out of our ash tree last week, and went out to cut it up and remove it. The branch was about 15' long and 8-12" in diameter at the break. I cut a lot of smaller branches off before freeing it from the tree. When it fell to the ground, the ground shook! We're waiting until cooler weather next weekend to finish the project. While it was cooler, we were still soaking wet with sweat after getting that branch out of the tree.
I think the only thing heavier than tree wood is palm tree trunk!

Man that thing did not stand a chance.
I had a tree branch fall on my house. The tree was an oak, the base of the tree was every bit of 5 feet diameter, the branch that fell on my house was 24" at least. It would have really done more damage except the branch did not fall completely from the tree. Here are some photos of it: The skid steer was having trouble picking up the big pieces, the rear end of it was coming off the ground.

I have cut a lot of wood in my time. Used to heat the place with it in my younger days. Anyway I swear the heaviest stuff I ever lifted was black locust. Not only having to deal with thorns that were hard as nails and strong enough to ruin a tire, that stuff was undeniably the heaviest stuff ever. Noticeably heavier than, oak, hickory, maple.

When I lived in western Pennsylvania, I had Eastern Hop Hornbeam trees on my property we called Ironwood because it would dual a chainsaw in one or two cuts.
You could not cut it with an axe.

I've heard of that stuff Barry, but have never seen it. I bet it was a bear to deal with.

I tried to cut one up for firewood one winter and that was the last time I did that. Had a load of red oak delivered instead.
