Default 8v92 oil pressure

I've seen several posts by owners concerning inaccurate engine oil pressure gauges. I finally got around to installing a mechanical gauge in the engine room and found the same thing. Big difference from front to rear. Cheap upgrade for peace of mind.

Wow!!
I'll say that's a difference!
I have to put my two cents in here. My "on the frame" oil pressure sensor was leaking and since I was there I decided to change all of the oil pressure switches and hose in that location. I was handed a VDO sender and told it might be "close enough." Well, it read noticeably higher so I went on a hunt for an original type sender. Now the one that came off had no numbers on it that showed up as part numbers, so this was a challenge. Finally I found one on eBay it has two sets of numbers on the box (and the very same numbers on the part) AC brand # PGS4 and # 6463690. I am thinking the box numbers are catalog numbers and the numbers on the part are internal identification. Namely: 120 5654912.060 97

Thanks Mike! It's always good to add shiney stuff. Even if it's hidden in the engine room.
