I want to thank everyone that has helped me buy our first bb, i went to indiana to pick it up and a fanbelt broke , rv shop couldn't get to it till after thanksgiving, i came home and will go back up to bring her home to texas, and start to learn where and what and how, i hope. Its a 1983, 33' fc rear bath, came out of monticello, in. My donuts will go on when i pick her up fmca 94449. Thanks again toyou all, i'll be asking a lot of questions.

Does it have a "swing" radiator? Will the RV shop know how to replace the fan belts? Have they done it before on a 3208 powered Wanderlodge? Do they own a kricket? Have they looked at the belt tightening sequence? Do they know what type belt to use? You cant just drop your coach off and expect it to be repaire correctly unless your willing to pay for their learning curve.

Congratulations Norm on your purchase! There is lots to learn for sure but we all started at zero.

Did you break both belts? You may want to have them change all the belts if they are old and cracked. Swing rad makes it easier for sure, but it's not bad to pull the rad from an '83.

Is this the auction bird? If so, nicely done, fan belt notwithstanding! Get some fresh tires on that thing too.

Norman, I don't live that far from Monticello and if you need anything further let me know and I will be glad to help. I mentioned it back on the thread about this Bird, but maybe you missed it.
